Pineapple Sage

Today one of my patients gave me a few sprigs of Pineapple Sage - she told me to eat one of the flowers - and I did (a little worried that I was being poisoned) - it had the most amazing taste.

She said that she uses it in her salads.

I am going to see if my very ungreen fingers can grow some......

Bugs For Lunch

My mum and I went to Jupiter's Hotel and Casino for lunch yesterday.

We had the bug special as we got $20 casino dollars to spend as well (courtesy of a special that has been going for a week or so)

Mum won $37.00 and I did not win anything.

But I would not rave about the Bugs - there really is very little meat inside them at all.

Today I took my mum for Mothers Day to a Max Brenner Chocolate Shop and we had Fondue for Two.

Two little bowls of chocolate (dark/milk) with marshmallows. bananas and banana bread for dipping - it was sooooo good.
