Nick and I went to Abu Dhabi for the Australian V8 Supercar Race. I did not take many pics of the cars as they are in last years album.
This year was a totally different experience as we were invited to a facebook fan zone event by the Yas Marina Circuit where we got to meet some of the drivers and I was lucky enough to win a hot lap with a V8 driver - which I gave to Nick.

Jebel Hafeet one of the tallest peaks in the Middle East - 1240m high. It was an amazing drive up - well worth the drive. There is also a hotel at about 950m up.

The Yas Marina Facebook Fan Zone - this was an area where facebook fans of Yas Marina were able to have all day access, they also arranged for some of the drivers to attend and gave away some prizes of which the hot lap was one. My name was drawn but I gave it to Nick as I would not have enjoyed it as much as he did.
