Shoe Lovers Paradise

Went on a shopping mission tonight to find a pair of red shoes to go with a top that I just bought for our christmas dinner. And you know when you go looking for something specific you never find it - well I must say that here there is so much variety especially in shoes that I had no problem once I found this shop.

The shoes were all sorted into colour groups - makes looking for shoes easy.

Boots galore!!!

And the shoes I ended up buying - now I have the bug. I don't wear heels at all ....never!!!! But now I want more - the shoes here are just devine.

Hash December 4th, 2009

Another Hash adventure in the desert. Was not going to go this week due to the rain - but afterall I am waterproof and that was not a good enough excuse not to go.
I was a 'Hare' again this week - so left early to mark the trail.

There was lots of flooding along the way - was nice to see so much water around and a little greenery. Lots of the wadi's along the way had running water.

Cars ahead marking off the roads with flour.

Wet boggy desert.

This week I helped Sean to mark out the trail for the runners - this is me at the top of the first hill we climbed that day. It took about 1.5hrs to mark out the trail.

We came from way down there!!!

The water check

Water and some greenery.

They Love the Lights

These photos were taken by a friend of mine. Every time I drive past this building I want to take pictures of it - I think its a children's amusement park - not too sure.

Kingdom Tower

These photos were taken by a friend of mine from the sky bridge at the top of the Kingdom Tower. I have yet to venture up there.
But I wanted to share these photos as they are just fabulous and there is no way my camera would take pictures like this.

The Faisalia Building lights up in different colours at night

The traffic is mad, crazy, chaotic, dangerous (well I should say the drivers)
